Turn off every fixture and watch your water meter. If it still moves, there's a leak somewhere in the lines. Text me what you see and I'll help narrow it down.
Will you fix the water damage too?
Small drywall patches and caulk, yes, once the leak is fixed and the area is dry. Soft drywall gets cut out and patched.
Can a ceiling stain be from the shower above?
Often, yes. Failed caulk or grout lets water through. Fixing the caulk first, then patching the ceiling, is a common pair of jobs.
