Drywall repair in Monterey Park

I patch holes, dents, cracks, and nail pops so the wall looks like nothing happened. Each patch is taped, mudded, sanded, and textured to match, then left ready for paint. I also do small patches on older plaster walls. Send a photo and I'll give you a price.

What I fix

  • Holes and dents from doorknobs, furniture, or old anchors
  • Cracks from settling, including the diagonal ones near doors and windows
  • Nail and screw pops where the board pulled away from the stud
  • Small water-stained spots, once the leak is fixed and the wall is dry
  • Texture matching for orange-peel and knockdown walls, and small plaster repairs

Problems I see most

  • Doorknob holes where there was never a door stop.
  • Settling cracks above doors and windows in older homes.
  • Bubbled or soft spots under a bathroom or below a leak.

How a visit works

  1. Call or text a photo. Tell me what's wrong and your ZIP code.
  2. You get a price first. Most drywall repair jobs I can price from a photo. If I need to see it, I'll say so.
  3. The visit. Time on site: 30–90 min. Visits: usually one; bigger patches may need a second coat. confirm
  4. Parts and cleanup. If parts are needed, you approve the cost before I buy them, and I clean up the work area. confirm

What to have ready

  • A photo of the damage with a coin or your hand for scale
  • The paint can or color name, if you have it
  • About 3 feet of clear space in front of the wall
  • Whether there was a leak, and whether it's been fixed

Rick and his team did a great job helping me with some drywall patches at my business! Great communication, punctuality, and very professional and tidy. Very fair rates too! Would highly recommend.

Drywall repair questions

Something else? Call or text and ask.

How much does a drywall patch cost?

A small hole usually runs $125–$250, and a patch of 1 to 3 square feet $225–$450. Send a photo and you get a firm price before I start. confirm

Can you match my wall texture?

Yes. I match orange-peel and knockdown textures so the patch blends in once it's painted.

Will I need to repaint the whole wall?

Sometimes. Touch-up paint can look different on an old wall, so the whole wall often needs a coat to look even. I'll tell you before we start.

Drywall or plaster: does it matter?

Plaster is harder and cracks differently, so it takes different materials and more time. I patch both. For plaster, I quote after seeing the crack or hole.
