Bathroom fan repair in Monterey Park
A bathroom fan that rattles, barely pulls air, or does nothing leaves steam in the room, and that means peeling paint and mold. I clean and repair fans, clear the duct and vent cap, and replace worn-out units with quieter ones that move enough air for the room.

What I fix
- Cleaning the grille, fan wheel, and motor
- Clearing clogged ducts and stuck dampers
- Replacing noisy or dead fan motors
- Replacing old fans with quieter, stronger models
- Adding a humidity-sensing or timer switch
Problems I see most
- Rattling or humming from a worn motor or loose parts.
- Weak airflow from lint, a crushed duct, or a blocked vent cap.
- A fan too small for the room, so the mirror never clears.

What customers said on Yelp
All reviewsRick came by our place to install a new bathroom vent. He was able to discover an additional problem where the vent was airing out into the attic instead of outside of the house. He made a quick trip to Home Depot to purchase what he needed and finished the entire job quickly. He was friendly, knowledgeable, & I could tell he really knows his craft well. Prices were reasonable as well. Highly recommend him! Looking forward to other possible projects in the future.
I hired Ricky to install a bathroom exhaust fan, do some caulking work around recess lights, and install a bug screen in a vent. He was prompt to answer messages, good communication, showed up on time, communicated what he was going to do, patiently answered questions. He did exactly what we asked and the time it took seemed just about right (not too short, not too long). Price was very fair as well. Easy to pay. Thanks for your help!

Bathroom fans questions
Something else? Call or text and ask.
Repair or replace?
If the fan is under about 10 years old and just dirty or noisy, a cleaning and a part usually fix it. Older fans that stay loud or weak after a cleaning are better replaced.
How strong a fan do I need?
At least 1 CFM per square foot of bathroom, and more for a big shower. A rating under 1.0 sone is very quiet.
Why does my fan run but not clear the steam?
Usually a clogged or crushed duct, a stuck damper, or a fan that's too small. I check the duct and the vent cap outside.
Can I get a fan that turns on by itself?
Yes. A humidity-sensing fan or switch turns on when the room gets steamy and off when it clears.
